Holidays, finally

So after not having a long break for 2.5 years, I can finally stop reading for a moment and try to finish editing some of the pending photos so that I can upload them all at once.  And catch up on some of the tv shows and movies, plus some ‘me’ time at home since the brother is staying over at Chloe’s house for a week. 

But it gets really boring sometimes, so I look into some of the folders in my computers and found some old photos sitting in the folder ‘random shots’.

How does one wisely spend their last 2 months in Malaysia before flying off to the UK to further their studies?  Need some suggestions here.  Well, of course meeting up with friends is a must. 

Because I haven’t been blogging for ages..

The messy corner of my neat table.  Well actually you can rarely see this, since tidying up my table is one of my favourite de-stress method.  When I got so frustrated of studying I just lock myself in the room and start throwing away stuffs that I don’t need and if I don’t have any I’ll rearrange the books. 

Maybe I should learn tennis.  After my EOS probably :/

Dad got us a few boxes of this from Shandong, China.  It’s called 周村烧饼, and trust me it’s such an awesome snack we could finish it by a few minutes. 

Hokkaido Chiffon Cupcake by my mum’s kindergarten’s parents :D They’re really soft and the cream is so awesome.  New favourite cake :)

Fireworks after dinner

So after satisfying our Korean food craving @ Seoul Korea (refer to the previous post), we were chatting with the cousins at the ground floor when suddenly the organiser of some lunar festival event nearby released some fireworks :D

But I didn’t have the time to find a nice spot hence the annoying tree :(

  And they stopped for a while, so I get to shift from my previous position. 

It wasn’t a good experience tho, the smell of sulfur is awful.

When the aunt is here... (part 2)

Well, it isn’t necessary that she must be here to get doughnuts, but since the doughnuts vouchers I got from JFH 2012 have this buy 12 free 12 original doughnuts, and obviously with just me, my mum and my brother we can’t finish that many, so yeah we went to get this when my aunt was here :)

This is my second time eating Krispy Kreme, and I’d say that it’s quite different from the other doughnuts shops, but doughnuts are doughnuts (plus they’re fattening :/) so nahh I’m not a fan. 

But they do look nice in photos :P

The cousin and I bought this ‘dog butt’ for RM10 to hang our clothes cause it’s too cute xD Yeah I know we can get cheap ones (very cheap ones) but who cares this is too cute not to get it :D

Please don’t judge me LOL. 

You can actually hang a few clothes on it since the tail is long enough :D

Jelly mooncakes mum bought from one of her ex children’s parents.  1 box for RM30 damn expensive man, sides, the mooncakes were so so only.  Wasted :/

Lost?

Got a very overgrown pot of plant at the living room. It’s all over the floor ._. so I thought to myself, how about we have a mini photo shoot?

And we need a subject, which somehow became this Dalmatian puppy lol.

Where am I?

Yeah I took it from this. It’s actually a cellophane tape box, where you put the tape in the drawer and when you want to use it, just pull the tape and the puppy will turn round and round.

I know, life as a medical student is really stress and I need some hobby or activities to keep my mind off stuffs. Which I still find photography is the best idea ever. And project 365 is still on, I just need some time to sort out the photos for my cousin’s wedding. Till then, take care :)

FAIL

I don’t know why I feel so embarrassed even tho it’s not my fault ._. So for those who didn’t follow me on twitter, here goes the story.

I was waiting outside a toilet cubicle at imu when I saw that the lock on the cubicle was GREEN.  Thinking that it’s empty, I pushed the door a little, just in case if there’s anyone inside, she can shout “Occupied/Someone’s inside.” Since there was no response, so I just pushed open it widely. And there was a girl inside with her skirt down OMG. 

Don’t think I can ever forget her face LOL. It’s too.. EPIC.  I mean, who doesn’t lock the door when they’re in a toilet? Unless you do want someone to barge in? And to Juls who said that I should have knocked on the door first, IT WAS GREEN D:  Man I feel so sorry.

Anyway, here’s some photos for the week. My orientation shirt is so dirty and I can’t wash off the ink on it ._.

Got some new shirts again :D First time having stripes, hope I can pull it off. (I can’t get Arthur’s idea of ‘the stripes-girl’ off my head LMAO.) Btw I still prefer check.

Will try to update more, hopefully once a week :) Oh and I’m restarting my Project 365 on 29th February 2012, a very special date right?  Let’s just hope that I won’t give up after a few weeks :/

Snacks, S

Of all the snacks you can get during CNY, I love the fried seaweed the most. And since it’s not so filling, I could finish half of it while watching dramas LOL.

And I was forced to go to my mum’s kindergarten on a holiday. Got kinda boring, so I went around taking photos of random stuffs. After I took this I heard some sound coming from the thick bush. As my mum’s kindergarten was ‘invaded’ by a cobra a few months ago,  I got so scared that I literally jumped away from that bush. Who knows if there are more cobras hiding within it LOL.

Went to get some sulphur and sprinkled it around the kindergarten, but according to my friend it’s not really effective D:

Anyway, I smell like sulphur when I got home ._. Washed my hands for 3 times and yet I can still smell sulphur on them wtf.

Meetup (before & after Christmas)

Planned to have a meet up a few days before Christmas, and it was kinda last minute, but luckily most of them managed to make it. We had a nice steamboat meet up @ Desa Parkcity and due to some personal reasons we couldn’t have it @ Chingyann’s house, so we had it @ a condo’s bbq place.

Anyway, caught up with Shuen, Cheechuen & Yunpin who are in UK, Arissa, Hanhoe, Kengseng, JunKit and Chingyann :) Had a good talk with the girls while the guys went strolling around LOL.

A day after Christmas, we planned another gathering @ Curve, where Xuemin and Shuen’s friend, Tommy, joined us for this :)

Decisions, photos

Yeah, I’m using ‘busy’ as an excuse again. Maybe I should trademark this word, I’ve been overusing it LOL.

Anyway, these photos were taken a week ago, or more. I haven’t had the time to play with my camera and I am back to watching dramas, eg House, HIMYM and TVD.  And stuffs, decisions to be made, payments, medical reports which I haven’t done yet.

Waiting aimlessly for a reply from the university you dreamt of going is so suffering, and you have to face the fact that maybe you’re not chosen. I’m tired of waiting. And now that this cold fact of me not being good enough has slapped me in the face, maybe doing it locally isn’t a bad choice. At least, I don’t have to worry about my accommodation, meals and laundry. So yeah, I’m going to do my medicine course @ Taylor’s University Lakeside.

And I’m one step closer to chasing my dream. I’m grateful for this.

This was taken a day before Christmas eve. The cake was from my colleague, but I gave it to my bro as I don’t like icing (it’s too SWEET.) and I don’t eat choc cake (it’s choc under the icing.)

These were taken on New Year @ The Curve. I was with Quintin and Eleng @ TGIF, waiting for our food to come after we had a great ‘fake snow fight’ with strangers. That fight was epic, of course, as Eleng was attacked and she was covered in white fake snow LOL. Was quite reluctant to join in at first, as I thought it was too childish, but how could you resist not to spray Eleng when you have the chance? xD

I’m glad I wasted RM10 on the 5 bottles of aerosol spray. We left to search of pubs at 11.30pm (It’s so exhausting, running around spraying on random people and avoiding their attacks.) Most of them required a certain amount of money just to get in WTH, so we ended up @ TGIF. Shouting Happy New Year to random people around us was fun too :)

Thai

Never thought I’d be like a photography maniac, in the streets of Thailand, (cause I’m quite afraid of my camera’s safety.)

It’s been so long, I’m starting to think they don’t want to offer me the place :/ Maybe people like me should just stay in Malaysia and finish the course locally. Maybe I just don’t deserve to go overseas.
