Burgers with friends

Went to try out the famous Killer Gourmet Burgers (KGB) @ Jln Telawi 2, Bangsar.  The place is rather small and cramped, I was quite relieved that we could get enough seats to fit all of us. 

This was back in August 2013 I’m so behind my ‘schedule’, I’ve been receiving complaints from my aunts cause they still haven’t got their CNY photos and those were in February.  I said I was too busy with studies so many times that I don’t think anyone believe me anymore, but I was REALLY busy :(

I personally think that both myBurgerLab and KGB are quite normal only, but KGB is a better option for me as it’s nearer (I hate the jam to myBurgerLab), and also you don’t have to queue for a burger (the queue is crazy trust me). 

I should really clear off all my pending posts and photos.  Tomorrow maybe, goodnight all :)

June & July

Had lunch with the college friends @ Plan B, Publika.  Hope I didn’t get it wrong I’m always confused with Plan B and Ben’s ._.

Basically nowadays I’m too lazy to bring my dslr around cause no.1: it’s really dangerous considering the fact that safety is the biggest issue in Malaysia right now, but somehow ‘some’ people choose to ignore.  No.2: my friend’s dslr was stolen.  He left it in his car when he went for a jog and came back to find his windows broken and dslr missing.  It’s not even safe during the day :/

I would only bring it when I’m not walking alone to the car park at night, so it has no choice but to stay at home and sit on my bed. 

Met up with Steph before she left for Edinburgh.

Of Redang, myBurgerLab, Artisan & Minions

Went for a short vacation with the uni friends to Redang island.  It was really last minute tho, cause we booked it a week before our exam and our trip was the next day after exam, so the resort that we wanted to stay in was fully booked (ON A WEEKDAY ARE YOU KIDDING ME?)

Luckily we didn’t go on a weekend cause the crowd coming in for the weekend when we were leaving was crazy.  Met my scout friend there and it’s good to know that she can still recognises me even after not seeing each other for such a long time; me on the other hand didn’t notice her cause I didn’t expect to see any other people there. 

It was really fun, except for the fact that I can’t swim and had to depend on Adam, which made me feel really guilty so I’d decided not to join for the last snorkeling trip.  And guess what I’m really afraid of water going into my ears (cause I was having otitis media and I had not been compliant to my medication so it hurts so fucking badly when sea water went in, it felt like someone’s drilling nails into your ears.  And I promise to be a compliant patient.) Actually even without otitis media I’m still scared LOL. 

Went to myBurgerLab a week ago to try out their burgers for the first time (yeah I know it’s really late). Ordered this A++ beef burger and I’d say it was just ok only, definitely not worth the wait since there was a really long queue that day.  But maybe I should give it another try, since my friend recommended their Alvis burger saying it’s really good and definitely worth my time.  Oh well, next time. 

Went Bangsar for lunch at Devi’s corner cause Yasmine wanted to try it out. 

And had some coffee chatting time with Eleng and the babi Yasmine at Artisan Coffee Bar :) Latte & Red Latte.

Because the minions fever is still not over yet *facepalm*

Had my favourite abacus beads at my favourite Hakka restaurant in Segambut.  The portion got smaller tho, and the price was a bit too expensive :/ Guess I might have to find another Hakka restaurant soon. 

有时候我不明白为何我会要写下这一切琐碎的事情，因为说真的谁会花心思去细读我写的废话？但我知道有一天当我要回想起一段早已遗忘的记忆，至少我还有这里。因为这一切，造就了今天的我，这些朋友、这些回忆、这些时光，所以就算我们以后不再碰面，甚至不再联络，我还会记得你们。

April & May

Finally got the time to edit some of the pending photos that I was supposed to upload ages ago.  Basically I’ve been wasting my time catching up on HIMYM and Vampire Diaries.  The rest of the time?  Study :/

This was back in April when Farm and Yy came back for a few weeks and so we went to have this 8 flavour xiao long bao @ Paradise Dynasty, Paradigm Mall.  Reminds me of how crazy we were last time when my friend and I (8 people) ordered 8 trays of them just because we wanted to try all the flavours.

Dessert after dinner.  Yy instagram-ing the crepe cake. 

Either the cakes tasted normal, or I’m just not a fan of crepe cake. 

May.  I bought this album ‘Save Rock & Roll’ from Fall Out Boy on my birthday, 21st deserve a day of good songs.  Awesome tracks :)

Went to collect the race packs for KL Marathon in June, but it got postponed to Sept thanks to the HAZE. 

Boxing Day @ Nic’s

Had a boxing day gathering at Nic’s house, more like a small hangout area built just beside her house :D  It is a really awesome place I kid you not.  So far we had played table tennis for a few times there, and charade too :)

Speaking of tabasco, I had a shot last week which was called something discipline teacher or what, and they added tabasco in it.  Lips were burning for the whole night. 

And Nic gave us the leftover christmas crackers :D

Am having holidays now, and I had finally got the time to edit my photos and rearrange them into different folders (yes I have a lot of folders cause I like to keep things tidy, be it my table or the stuffs in my laptop).  So brave yourself more photos are coming :D

Raymond suggested that we have a small gathering since he’s back, and he kinda missed the butter prawn @ Wok Hei, Plaza Damas.  We used to order that every time we went to that restaurant.  Ahhh the college memories :’)
