Sitka

Went to try out this café on Jalan Batai with Eleng and Michelle.  Most of my holidays were spent on dealing with visa applications / replying emails with the documents required by the uni, watching more tv shows and café hopping.  Gotta spend more time with them since I’m leaving soon :(

Some chicken liver + marmalade sandwich.  I think it tasted really weird cause I don’t like marmalade.

I still have a list of people that I want to meet up with before I leave the country in September to begin my hectic life in the medical field.  Please be good to me August :)

Frisky Goat

Went café hopping again, but this time we had more people joining as it was after exams.  So our crew consisted of me, Eleng, Michelle, Khai and Frank.  Of course we need to get Khai he loves coffee and Frank too, cause with the two of them you’ll have some good laughs. 

First stop is at Frisky Goat, which is located at TTDI, beside Public Bank. 

As usual, we let Eleng picked the cakes for us because we’re a bunch of indecisive people, and deciding which cake to eat is probably the last thing we want to spend our time on after exams. 

Red Opera.  Initially I thought it wouldn’t taste nice given the colourful presentation (colourful food does not seem appetising to me, I’ve always thought they’re just artificial colourings/flavourings just like the strawberry-flavoured medicines the doctors prescribed to me when I was a kid, and they tasted awful.) But it was nice, a lil bit of sour to neutralise the sweetness, perfect for my taste buds.

Egg Salmon Royale.  Portion is a little too small tho, but that’s fine for us cause we planned to go to another café later.

Picnic with the dogs :D

It was Labour Day yesterday, so we decided to have another picnic @ Desa ParkCity, with the dogs again :D It’s becoming a tradition for us, and we had a new member too, Mich.  Too bad Adam & Alex could not make it, else it would have been more fun since we can get Jo to join the dogs.

You must be wondering why you don’t see Mich.  That’s cause she’s afraid of dogs LOL, so this is the only photo of her and Carys, away from the dogs.

Frank was upset cause we didn’t want to move to another spot, which is so much flatter.  But we were too hungry & comfortable (not really, the ground was steep as hell) to move.

Baby was more obedient today, hence the nice photos. 

Took a day off the books and slept for 4 hours after I came back from the picnic.  And edited the photos just so that I can upload it immediately :)  Glad that the photos turn out great. 

Burgers with friends

Went to try out the famous Killer Gourmet Burgers (KGB) @ Jln Telawi 2, Bangsar.  The place is rather small and cramped, I was quite relieved that we could get enough seats to fit all of us. 

This was back in August 2013 I’m so behind my ‘schedule’, I’ve been receiving complaints from my aunts cause they still haven’t got their CNY photos and those were in February.  I said I was too busy with studies so many times that I don’t think anyone believe me anymore, but I was REALLY busy :(

I personally think that both myBurgerLab and KGB are quite normal only, but KGB is a better option for me as it’s nearer (I hate the jam to myBurgerLab), and also you don’t have to queue for a burger (the queue is crazy trust me).

Frank’s 21st

Went out for dinner with Frank, Eleng and Adam at Acme Bar & Coffee (ABC), The Troika.  Took us some time to figure it out where it is as we are not familiar with the KLCC area.

The food is quite nice but the portion is a lil too small for me (cause I eat A LOT lol) and it’s a lil too pricey as it is located near KLCC.
