Reached aunt’s house at about 1am, which was quite fast as we left home at 9.30pm :/
My grandma’s dog, Ahboy LOL (A very very very lame name wth.) He’s cute and he can do a few tricks :D He shook hand with me when I said, "Ahboy shake hand.” And he listens to Hokkien and Chinese only. Cool right? :P
Went to 拜祖先 at my grandpa’s old house. My dad used to live there when he was small, until he married with mum :)
The first house on the right :) with the door opened to welcome the god and our ancestors.
Have you seen this kinda switch before? Mann that’s so damn old, and the whole house is built of wood without using any cement. Imagine it has lasted for 50++ years WALAO. Great job thanks to my granduncle, he built it :)
Praying.
I heard this from my cousin. She said there’s this Christian old woman who came to her house, and when my cousins were praying, she was saying,”做么事你们拜木头? Why are you guys praying to some wooden plank?”
My uncle was so damn pissed that he said, “Get out of my house, NOW!” Ok, I’m not saying that all Christians are like this but PLEASE show some respect to others’ religion. I’m sorry but I hate people who have no manners, especially when you are old. You should know what you can say and what you can’t.
Burning some fake money for the ancestors. I don’t like this part :/ (SMOKE D:)
At night, we had reunion dinner at grandma’s house :D After that we went to my cousin’s house to sleep over. Her dad was so excited that he wanted to light some firecrackers. So I was standing damn near, preparing to take some photos of the firecrackers. Then he lit it without telling me wtf, so I suffered half deaf in both of my ears after that ==
Fireworks :)
Happy CNY :D
