Back for another short update.
Am on my first week of Neurology / Neurosurgery rotation now after finishing my 6 weeks on Oncology / Haematology / Palliative care. Finally something not so depressing perhaps? We shall see.
Tbh I did not witness many cases of breaking bad news during my previous rotation, probably because most of the time the patients were only back for follow-up instead of new cases. Well, one thing I am certain of after finishing this rotation is that I will never pursue a career in Oncology or Palliative care; I do not think so I have the skills to break such bad news everyday.
Moving on, I am quite excited for Neurosurgery though. It is definitely something I might want to try in the future, so let's see how it goes. In the meantime, I'm just gonna leave some photos here so that this post will not be that boring. This was back in April this year, where we get all the sunshine yet cooling weather. I kinda miss it now that it's winter and it is cold and the sun sets so early it's so depressing lmao.
All the photos are taken when I was still living in the previous house. Kinda miss the scenery that I get when I wake up each day, and how near it is to the hospital compared to the current place. But then, the room was quite small and this room right now is much more spacious that I can do yoga in it. I kid, I don't do yoga. But it is quite big compared to the previous room, but also more expensive sigh.
We have colourful plants and trees in our backyard as well. There used to be a fox roaming around the backyard during Spring and Summer and it used to take a nap in the shade as well. I miss you little fox.
Till then.
