Sorry for the lack of updates cause I was really (still am!) busy with trying to settle in at the new place (moving is not fun at all), and trying to get used to the year 4 timetable. Even though we have more free time and self-study time in the timetable, do not be fooled by it. Most of the empty spaces need to be used to conduct our Individual Research Project (IRP), and the rest are spent on traveling to various places through out the city to get to our GP clinics or specialist clinics.
Honestly, I can't wait to graduate and finally be able to work my ass off. I might regret this later in my life when I start working, but I think as I am getting older and seeing all my friends graduating (just stop uploading graduation photos already it makes me feel miserable), I can't help but think that I need to start working and stop leeching money off my parents.
Basically this post is just a small update about my new laptop lols. I guess I got a fairly good deal and til now I am still very happy with it.
Went to lowyat with my mind set to get the ASUS UX305 but I saw this and ended up getting it after comparing the specs and what not.
The model no. is K401L. I really think all these model no. are really confusing because for someone like me who does not keep myself updated on the latest models of all the laptop brands, when I really need to get a new laptop I was so lost because I have no idea where to start my search on.
Luckily, I do have some personal preferences and I avoid buying certain brands i.e. hp, acer, vaio. Why? Just some bad experiences with previous laptops/desktops and I swore to not get any computer of those brands anymore. I had a Dell before, and I was going to continue using it since it has been good so far (still good, I gave it to my mum so that she can use it to skype us and do her accounts lol), but the 'adventurous' me felt like I should give Asus a try since a lot of my friends have been telling me how good they are, with reasonable pricing as well.
It's seriously so thin and light and I love the design. Ofc you can't compare it with those apple products, but then again this is fine for me since I needed something cheap, good and light (so aunty). I got it for RM2.6k, but I upgraded the RAM from 4gb to 8gb so that was an additional of RM150? I can't remember the exact cost.
Because the whole laptop is made of aluminium it's rather cooling and according to the website apparently they have this inbuilt Ice Cool technology which helps too. Down side is, because I am using it in the UK sometimes it becomes so cold for you to rest your hands on it.
Nevertheless, it's a good laptop yay. Can't believe I managed to write so much bullshit on a new toy lmao they should pay me to be ambassador I can really go on and on about it. Nahh I kid. I just needed a break from my studies. Now, I need to cook my dinner.
