Boring wedding dinner @noble house

I was actually enjoying my weekend, surfing the net and watching my bro playing Plant VS Zombie LOL. Such a nice weekend but it was suddenly ruined by my mum’s call. She said that since dad’s not here, we should represent dad and go that wedding WTF ==

Ok, so I’m such a good girl that I promised mum that I’d go (Actually mum told me that Noble House’s food is quite nice so I couldn’t resist it HAHA). Asked eleng about the restaurant and she said it’s nice too. So I started persuading my bro to go with me, as I don’t want to go alone LOL. And he said ok :D

Mum said that the wedding would start at 7pm, so we left at 6.38pm and reached the destination, Noble House restaurant at 7pm. So punctual, and I regretted. Sat at the table with no one to talk to except my bro, but he’s busy playing his handphone games WTH. At least better than maple la LOL.

The thank you gift. Nice wrapping :) There’s a chocolate inside LOL. Don’t wana mention the name of the choc. It’s a cheap brand in M’sia WTH. I like the bokehs in the background anyway :D

The tasteless cocktail and the menu. Looking at my watch, 8pm. I don’t understand why Chinese people just can’t be PUNCTUAL. Didn’t you see that the dinner was gonna start at 7pm? WTF. Was so damn hungry that I finished the whole plate of peanuts and whole cup of tea. And keep complaining to my mum that I don’t want to attend any wedding dinner anymore :/

And finally, at 8.45pm, the wedding started. My stomach was growling like hell. Luckily the food came soon after the bride and bridegroom sat down. First dish was some special four combination or wtv.

Quite delicious :D  satisfied HAHA, so I stop complaining about the wedding LOL. But I didn’t manage to take more photos of this food cause everyone’s hungry. But they ate very little, so I was the one who finished the whole dish LOL :P

 

The next was shark fin soup, my bro’s favourite. I don’t understand what’s so special about the fin of a FISH. On the right hand side is my bro’s wine. I didn’t drink on that day LOL. Such a good kid :D

Smoked farm chicken and steamed Patin in Hakka style. The chicken was kinda nice and tasty, but the fish has the smell of soil and stinks :/ Mum said that’s because it’s a freshwater fish, and it’s kinda expensive LOL. I thought all freshwater fish are cheap, since you can breed it in a lake, unlike those you can only catch in the sea. Dislike the waiter didn’t cut the fish for us, then mum’s colleague who sat at the same table with us cut it HEHE.

And this, is my favourite dish on that night. Salad prawns and deep-fried SOFT SHELL CRAB FTW. I purposely move the plate to face me so that I can take a nice picture of it :D Just took one photo, then they started eating LOL. That’s why I don’t like to use phone camera, focusing damn slow WTF.

Braised broccoli with gluten and mushroom. Not really nice tho, kinda tasteless :/ Ok, next dish.

The last dish before the dessert, braised E-fu noodle.  I was still hungry after all the food, and everyone at the table was busy taking pictures with the bride, so I ate 4 helping of this noodle HAHA. It’s kinda nice anyway :)

Urged my mum to go home straight away after I had finished the dessert (didn’t take any picture of the dessert. It’s kinda common.) I don’t really like to go this kinda, 应酬 stuffs. Guess I just don’t like to be at the same table with a bunch of strangers :/

Overall, the food is kinda nice :) But one thing, can’t you people let me take some photos before raising your chopsticks? :/
